DESCRIPTION:This information session is geared towards the academic needs modern technical managers. The UF Outreach Engineering Management (OEM) Program offers working professionals the opportunity to obtain a master’s degree in industrial & systems engineering (with an engineering management track) through a collaboration of UF’s Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and the Master of Business Administration Program of UF’s Warrington College of Business. The OEM Program takes only 20 months to complete. \nAdditionally\, students who wish to earn an MBA as well as the MS in ISE can do so through an innovative concurrent degree program that takes only about one year longer and is offered in a fully online or a weekend-based delivery format. \nBuilding on the significant business content in the OEM curriculum\, the MBA degree provides advanced skills in finance\, marketing and strategy\, as well as business law\, international business\, eCommerce\, and entrepreneurship. Following 16 months of OEM coursework\, students who choose to add the MBA will team with business professionals from a variety of backgrounds\, including those with experience in accounting\, finance\, marketing and operations.
