Companies are looking to recruit and develop students into young professionals. Companies host 50-minute career-focused sessions spanning a variety of topics, ranging from career paths, exploring industries, to finding a fit within company culture. All sessions provide a chance to network with professionals in your major and build relationships with top recruiters.
Within HIREWarrington you will be able to register and view the weekly schedule of session days/times, session descriptions and more. Students are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible during Warrington Career Week.
The mixer brings together select student populations and recruiting companies. Students network with sought after companies while employers can recruit top talent and strengthen their on-campus branding and recruitment efforts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to attend every session?
No! Attendance at every session is not mandatory but students are highly encouraged to attend any sessions hosted by companies that you are interested in learning more about.
I am a Freshman, should I still attend?
Yes! Everyone is encouraged to attend. There is no such thing as starting too early and familiarize yourself with the job market early in your academic career.
What should I bring with me?
Bring yourself, something to write on, something to write with, and plenty of resumes to hand out to employers!
Who can attend?
Warrington business and accounting majors only. Warrington Career Week is free for Warrington students.
What should I wear?
Students are encouraged to dress business professional. Remember, you are interacting with recruiters and industry professionals who could help launch your career, so dress to impress.
