New York City Retail Tour
The Center hosts an annual trip to New York City for students interested in the retail industry. Students can tour the Big Apple during Spring Break, visiting companies such as Macy’s, Brown Shoe, Women’s Wear Daily, Bloomingdales, Toys “R” Us, jcpenney and Barney’s and the garment district.
The trip includes five days of touring retail stores, listening to lectures from company leadership, visiting fashion showrooms, and learning about jobs and internships in the retail industry. See what the industry looks like behind doors that are normally closed to the public and envision your future role in a retail position. There is also time to explore New York City on your own!
Students are responsible for all expenses: flight, hotel, food and transportation.
