Enterprise Partners in Educating Students

Casari, Ami
Ami Casari, Talent Acquisition Manager, Enterprise Holdings

Ami Casari, the Talent Acquisition Manager for Enterprise Holdings, spoke to students in two classes this past week. In the seminar class, Amy spoke about the Consumer Experience and how Enterprise uses its values and mission to offer great customer service. She actively engaged students by breaking them into groups that instigated discussion about how both good and bad customer services are memorable and how great customer service retains customers for years. Additionally, Amy presented to the Retail You students about how they can be successful in their careers even with difficult bosses by understanding their perspective and responsibilities while working to become leaders.

National Retail Federation Update

Jensen Dole
Jensen Dole, National Retail Federation (NRF) Campus Ambassador

Hi everyone, my name is Jensen Dole and I am the National Retail Federation (NRF) ambassador on campus. The NRF brings together supporters of the retail industry and helps create ‘bold opportunities’ and ‘gain insights from industry leaders and visionaries’. The NRF grants exclusive access to students who want to learn more about the retail industry and help get their foot in the door. There will be weekly recruiter chats this semester that start Monday, September 19th at 5 pm to help students meet major retailers across the country and learn more about internships and job opportunities. To access these exclusive recruiter chats please join the NRF here, NRF Sign Up.

Another important aspect of the NRF is offering students the chance to compete for different scholarships and competitions. This semester I will be sending out information about various competitions and scholarships students can apply for, some of the prizes starting at $7500. The NRF’s biggest event is January 13-15 in New York City. In the next few weeks, we will be sending out information about our first scholarship for freshman and sophomores, called the Rising Star Scholarship. This scholarship covers students’ travel expenses to New York in January so they can experience the magnitude and importance of the event. We are looking for hard-working and motivated students to apply for these scholarships and competitions so they can go to New York to network and experience one of the biggest retail events in the country. If you have any questions or want to learn more about the NRF please reach out, and I can answer your questions. Email Jensen Dole for more information.
