The University of Florida Warrington College of Business hosts its nationally recognized MBA program in Miami through its Weekend Part-Time MBA. Designed for working professionals, the program combines the flexibility busy leaders need with the academic rigor, collaborative learning and career-focused curriculum that have made Warrington one of the nation’s leading business schools.

Just as important as the curriculum are the faculty members leading each course. Warrington’s professors bring decades of experience in business, research and executive education into the classroom, helping students understand foundational business principles and emerging trends.

Meet some of the Warrington faculty leading the Weekend Part-Time MBA in Miami and the expertise they bring to the program.

Odile Guinot

With decades of executive leadership experience at some of the world’s most recognizable technology companies, Odile Guinot brings a practitioner’s perspective to the classroom. Before joining the University of Florida, she held senior marketing and sales leadership roles at Motorola, Google and Apple, where she most recently served as head of AppleCare Sales. Throughout her career, she helped guide organizations through rapidly changing consumer and technology markets.

At Warrington, Guinot teaches courses in marketing, professional selling and international marketing. Drawing on her extensive executive experience, she equips students with practical insights into branding, sales, global business and organizational leadership while preparing them to navigate the evolving world of marketing.

Thomas Knight

Thomas Knight serves as Department Chair and Instructional Professor in the Department of Economics. In addition to teaching undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral economics courses, he conducts research in the fields of economics of education and experimental economics. More specifically, his current research agenda examines how students and workers respond to evaluative feedback. 

As Department Chair, Knight has overseen several developments in the department: large alumni gifts to support research conferences and student scholarships; 30% growth of the Economics major; introduction of a new Economics minor, which already enrolls more than 400 students; introduction of new residential and fully online M.A. in Econometric and Data Analysis programs; and the addition of a Macroeconomics specialization to the doctoral program.

As Program Director of the M.A. in Econometric and Data Analysis program, Knight is responsible for curriculum development and planning, recruiting and admissions, career and professional development programming, and academic advising. He built and launched a residential program for current UF undergraduate students in Spring 2019. He launched a new fully online format in Fall 2025.

Anuj Kumar

Anuj Kumar

Anuj Kumar is a Full Professor of Information Systems at the Warrington College of Business, University of Florida. He earned his PhD in Information Systems Management from the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to that, he completed a Master’s in Management from the Indian Institute of Management and holds both a Master’s in Thermal Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in India.

Kumar’s research focuses on understanding how information technology influences human behavior and organizational outcomes. He has developed an AI-enabled platform called EPInc, designed to identify students’ knowledge gaps and connect them with peers who can assist in bridging those gaps. This platform has been implemented in many K-12 schools across several cities in India, benefiting thousands of students.

James Parrino

James Parrino

James Parrino brings lessons of investment banking and corporate finance directly into the classroom. As an instructional professor in the Finance, Insurance and Real Estate Department, he teaches graduate courses in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and investment banking and corporate financial modeling.

Parrino’s impact extends beyond the classroom. He has helped prepare generations of Warrington students for careers in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity and consulting by blending financial theory with real-world applications from industry practice. Parrino has strengthened Warrington’s reputation for producing finance graduates who make an immediate impact on businesses.

Christopher Pryor

Chris Pryor

Christopher Pryor brings the realities of entrepreneurship and innovation into the classroom. As a clinical professor at the Warrington College of Business and a longtime leader within the college’s entrepreneurship programs, he has developed courses that encourage students to think creatively, identify market opportunities and transform ideas into viable ventures.

Pryor has worked closely with aspiring entrepreneurs as they refine business concepts, compete in venture competitions and connect with industry leaders and investors. Through his leadership and commitment to hands-on education, Pryor has helped strengthen Warrington’s reputation as a destination for students who want to innovate, solve complex problems and create lasting impact through business.
