In the Classroom
Classes are intense because they are taught in a shortened eight-week module. Group projects are an important part of the curriculum, imitating what life in the work place will be life for students after graduation.
- Core business courses (14 credits) reinforce fundamental business concepts
- Elective courses (16 credits) allow you to customize the curriculum
- Final Project requires extensive research of an organization, its operations, successes and failures in the global marketplace
Global Immersion Experience (required)
All MIB students are required to participate in a Global Immersion Experience, which brings the classroom to life through a brief, but intensive corporate study abroad tour.
- Length: 1 week
- Past locations: Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Dublin, London, Munich, Paris, and Prague
Study Abroad (optional)
The ability to study for a term (or shorter) at a top foreign school is one of the greatest features of the program. After completion of the core course on the UF campus, students are free to earn MIB credit through a foreign study program. Study abroad trips can be as short as two weeks or as long as eight months. Study Abroad opportunities are available at more than 30 elite business schools.
