The Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative offers support for women at UF through activities designed to empower and equip them to develop effective leadership skills and become successful entrepreneurs. In the U.S., women are starting businesses at twice the rate of men, and at the Entrepreneurship Center we provide additional female-focused support for increased success in those efforts. The Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative connects the students with their peers and successful female leaders to foster a community of women in entrepreneurship where they benefit through mentoring, network building, start-up and career advice, internships, and lots of inspiration!

Women’s Entrepreneurship Symposium

This annual event, hosted by the UF Warrington College of Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, offers inspirational stories and lessons learned from successful women entrepreneurs. The event provides opportunities for women to connect with peers and other successful female business leaders to foster a community of women in entrepreneurship where they benefit through mentoring, network building, start-up and career advice, internships and role models.
