
Zhenhao (Jeffery) is a Ph.D. candidate at the Fisher School of Accounting. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, Jeffery obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with the Highest Honors and Masters of Accounting Science with a concentration in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During his time in Illinois, he discovered his passion for academic research and teaching and decided to pursue his doctoral studies upon graduation.
His research interests span two areas. First, he is interested in information dissemination channels within the capital markets such as corporate disclosure and private interactions. Second, he is also interested in human capital-related issues in the accounting profession. He also had the great opportunity to teach ACG4341: Cost Accounting in the Summer 2019 semester.
