Welcome to the Warrington College of Business! Internationalizing the student experience is very important to me, as well as meeting students where they are. If you have never been on a plane or if you have already traveled to 20 countries- let’s talk! The International Programs office is here to support your diverse goals and needs.
As Associate Director of International Programs, my primary responsibility is to prepare undergraduate students to study, intern, and network abroad. The International Programs staff is hard at work to offer students the best international opportunities possible. I hope to help students improve their critical thinking and problem solving skills throughout the entire study abroad process.
I graduated with a B.A. in International Studies from the University of South Carolina with minors in French and Spanish, and am a proud alumna of the South Carolina Honors College. I then completed my M.A. in International Studies with a concentration in International Higher Education Administration at East Carolina University. While at ECU, I also obtained a TESOL certificate and have had the privilege of teaching English to international students and adult language learners at several points in my career. Before coming to UF, I last worked as an academic advisor for the top-ranked International Business program at the University of South Carolina.
Some of my favorite personal travel experiences in recent years include visits to Japan, Rwanda, Egypt, and Colombia. When I studied abroad in Spain after my sophomore year of college, however, it was my first time leaving the U.S. and I had no idea what to expect! It’s crucial to me that I help you set and manage your expectations about international travel and study. I am dedicated to helping you explore ways to fit study abroad into your academic and professional plans. It’s never too early to start that conversation, so please come in and chat with us.
