Brandon Perdeck (BSBA ’15, MSRE ’16)

Brandon recently joined Aries Capital, a national full-service commercial mortgage and real estate investment banking firm, as an Analyst. Brandon, based in the company’s headquarters in Chicago, will assist with originating, underwriting and packaging client transactions for lender review, as well as evaluating new investment opportunities. He most recently served as a Financial Analyst at Hart Advisory Group in Miami.

John Pacifici (BSEN ’96, MBA ’11)

John was named a Senior Supervising Engineer at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization. Based in the company’s Tampa office, John will be responsible for the growth of the firm’s water and wastewater practice in the Tampa area. He will support clients in the Tampa Bay region facing various challenges, including management and beneficial reuse of water resources, navigation of regulatory mandates, and dealing with aging infrastructure. He most recently was a Senior Environmental Engineer at Arcadis.

Benjamin Babcock (BSBA 2007, MS ISOM 2008, JD 2011, LLM 2012)

Benjamin was accepted into the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, which was created to develop the profession’s future leaders in trust and estate law. Benjamin is an Associate Attorney at Greenberg Traurig, and is based in the firm’s Miami office. He focuses his practice on complex estate planning matters, including multigenerational wealth transfer, life insurance, post-mortem tax and pre-immigration planning and cross-border investment, among other issues.

Chris Marhefka (BSBA ’08)

Chris was featured in the Sept. 11 edition of the Gainesville Sun. He is the Co-Founder of B3 Gym (formerly Body by Boris) and Eat the 80 food delivery service in Gainesville. B3 Gym recently moved to a 4,500-square-foot building on NW Sixth Street, and Eat the 80 delivers more than 1,400 meals a week. He is also one of two featured trainers in the upcoming cable TV series Altar’d, which will premiere at 9pm ET on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, on Z Living network. In the new show, Chris helps coach and guide engaged couples through the most challenging three months of their lives – as they strive to lose weight and adopt healthy lifestyles in time for their weddings.

Aimee LeWinter (BSBA ’04, MBA ’08)

Aimee was named to the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s 2016 Top Workplace Professionals, celebrating the most promising young professionals in South Florida. Aimee is a Senior Vice President, Corporate & Institutional Banking at PNC Bank. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Aimee develops and manages key relationships among companies with annual revenues between $10 million and $500 million in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties.

Paul Carr (BSBA ’00, MSF ’02)

Paul, a Senior Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield, became the fourth member of the firm's Tampa-based senior housing team. He is a member of the firm's Capital Markets Group, and previously specialized in office and industrial investment sales.

Robert Rushing (BSBA ’93, JD ’97)

Robert and his wife, Jenny (BA ’95, M.Ed. ’96), recently joined RE/MAX on the Coast as Real Estate Agents. Robert is also a Partner with Advance Mortgage Investment Company.

Tina Pena (BSBA ’92)

Tina assumed command of Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans, becoming the station’s first female commander. She is responsible for operations including the areas from Apalachicola, Fla., north to Memphis, west to the Louisiana/Texas border, and south into the Gulf of Mexico.

Rob Samuels (BSBA ’90)

Rob was appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority, which promotes and enhances Downtown West Palm Beach through the strategic development of economic, social and cultural opportunities. Rob has served on the Board since 2004. He is the Owner of Provident Jewelry, which retails fine estate jewelry, rare gems, and luxury time pieces at seven South Florida locations.

Randy Koporc (BSBA ’88)

Randy was named Regional President and Chief Executive Officer of Fifth Third Bank (Georgia). He most recently served as Fifth Third’s Executive Vice President and Head of Payment and Commerce Solutions at the bank’s corporate headquarters in Cincinnati where he was responsible for launching the new division. The division included all payment and card related strategies and product development for the enterprise and all corporate treasury management product development, sales and services. He provided overall strategic leadership for the division and ensure definition, launch and execution of current and new payment strategies and verticals for Fifth Third Bancorp. Randy returns to Atlanta where he previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Fifth Third’s Georgia region.

Cynthia Crofoot Rignanese (BSBA ’87, JD ’90)

Cynthia founded the Winter Haven Women’s Bar Association, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Cynthia, an estate planning attorney in Winter Haven, was re-elected as the organization’s President for the 2016-17 administrative year.

Peter Lars Johnson (BSBA ’79)

The Gainesville City Commission appointed Peter to the Board of Directors of the Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority, which is tasked with oversight of Gainesville Regional Airport. Peter is the Founder and President of Goalmasters, a business consulting firm, and Co-Founder and President of Travel Revealed, a website which scales and expands on the incredibly successful Hawaii Revealed series.
