James Boudreau II (BSAc ’15, MAcc ’15)

James received the 2015 Elijah Watt Sells Award from the American Institute of CPAs. James was one of 75 CPA candidates out of 93,742 individuals to obtain a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination, pass all four sections of the Examination on their first attempt and complete testing in 2015. He is employed with Austin, Gillman & Lovano, P.L.L.C. in Gainesville.

Tyler Minix (MSRE ’12)

Tyler was recently hired as an Associate with Avison Young’s Capital Markets Group in Miami to further bolster its multifamily platform in South Florida. In his new role, Tyler will work closely with Senior Associates to continue the expansion of the team’s activity throughout Miami-Dade, into Broward, and beyond. He will assist with charting out new or fine-tuning existing investment strategies, analyzing potential investment opportunities, and marketing properties.

Michael Perry Lehnert (BSBA ’12, JD ’15)

Michael was appointed Treasurer of the Southwest Florida Real Estate Council. He is an Associate in the Real Estate Division of the law firm Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt. Michael, who focuses on real estate matters, including homeowners’ and condominium association governing documents, commercial and residential sales and leases, development, and survey matters, is based in the firm’s Fort Myers office.

Eli Randel (MBA ’11)

Eli was named Director of Business Development at CREXi, an online commercial real estate marketplace based in Venice, California, with backing from several prominent VC firms. CREXi connects buyers, brokers, and sellers of commercial real estate and simplifies the transaction process using powerful technology. Previously, Eli served as Director of Dispositions for Invitation Homes in addition to Director of Capital Markets at Cohen Financial and Vice President for Auction.com. Eli opened and will be based in CREXi's Miami office.

Caleb Quaid (MBA ’09)

Caleb and his wife, Jessica, are expecting their first child (a son) in late July. Additionally, Caleb was recently promoted to Director of Business Administration with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he was previously the Senior Manager of Business Administration. In this expanded role, he oversees game operations, stadium and training facility operations, and is the Project Director on the $100 million renovation currently underway at Raymond James Stadium.

Caroleen Brej (BSBA ’08, JD ’11)

Caroleen recently joined Sarasota-based law firm Maglio Christopher & Toale. She previously worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit in Sarasota where she successfully tried a multitude of criminal cases. Her practice focuses on representing plaintiffs in complex products liability litigation.

Natasha Novikov (BSBA ’05)

Natasha was named the Woman to Watch Emerging Leader for 2016 by the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). The Women to Watch awards were created by the American Institute of CPAs to recognize outstanding women in the accounting profession. The FICPA Women to Watch awards focus on the outstanding women who not only shape the Florida Institute of CPAs, but also the profession through community/public service and leadership.

Greg May (BSBA ’01)

Greg joined Lee & Associates, a national commercial real estate brokerage firm with 56 national offices, as a Senior Vice President. Greg’s responsibilities are to provide comprehensive commercial real estate services, and specialize in multifamily, office sales, and leasing, as well as investment sales throughout Southwest Florida. He is based in the firm’s Naples-Fort Myers office.

Aaron Mighty (BSBA ’01)

Aaron celebrated 10 Years as Broker and Owner of Mighty Realty, an independently-owned, full-service real estate brokerage serving the entire Central Florida area. In recent years, Aaron has expanded his real estate brokerage to the Tampa and Chicago areas with an Atlanta and Miami office scheduled to open this summer.

Kellie Johnson (BSBA ’99)

Kellie Johnson and Streeter Lecka were married on Feb. 13 at The Cloister at Sea Island in Sea Island, Ga. Kellie is the Owner and President of Highland Drive Coaching where she serves a Personal Health Coach. Streeter is a Sports Photographer at Getty Images. The couple resides in Charlotte, N.C.

David Seifer (BSBA ’94, MBA ’98, JD ’98)

David was appointed to the Board of Directors of United Way of Miami-Dade. He is an attorney in Stearns Weaver Miller’s Miami office.

Michael S. Barron (BSBA ’94)

Michael was included in Barron’s Magazine’s 2016 Top 1,200 Financial Advisors list, which recognizes financial advisors and their commitment to their clients. He is the Senior Vice President—Wealth Management and Senior Portfolio Manager at The Barron Group, a wealth management firm in Palm Beach.

Anne Kress (BSBA ’85, BA ’87, MA ’89, Ph.D. ’07)

Anne was named academic co-chair of the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council, a public-private partnership that is dedicated to the advancement of economic development in the city of Rochester, N.Y., and nine surrounding counties. She is the only community college president to hold the role of co-chair across the 10 N.Y. state councils. Anne serves as President of Monroe Community College in Rochester, and is an elected board director of the American Association of Community Colleges.

Bill Werther Jr. (BSBA ’68, MA ’69, Ph.D. ’71)

Bill (Phi Beta Kappa, 1971) was an NDEA Title IV Fellow in Economics and Business Administration. Retired from the University of Miami this past May, he had held the Friedman Chair in Executive Management and the Office Depot Management Scholar Professorship, was founding co-director of the UM Center for Non Profit Management, authored more than 100 scholarly articles and a score of books/revisions, and advised more than 100 organizations in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
