Travis Lefke (BSBA ’16)

Travis was recently hired as a Process Consultant for Protiviti, a global consulting firm. Says Travis: “I'm very excited to be starting as a young professional in Orlando! My experience in the Warrington College of Business has helped me develop into a more ambitious and hard-working individual. I'm very grateful for the time that I spent with such a wonderful group of future business leaders.”

Suneera Madhani (BSBA ’09)

Suneera was honored at the Orlando Business Journal’s 18th annual “Women Who Mean Business Awards” on April 29, celebrating Central Florida’s women of distinction in 2016. She was one of five executives honored in the Business Owner of the Year category. Suneera is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Fattmerchant, which provides small business unlimited payment processing at direct cost for a flat monthly membership as an alternative to traditional merchant service providers.

Kevin Reilly (BA ’08, MSM ’09)

Kevin was appointed Legislative Affairs Director of the Executive Office of the Governor. In his new role, Kevin will advocate and secure passage of Governor Rick Scott’s legislative priorities, and provide counsel and support to the Governor and his staff regarding legislative matters among other duties. Kevin has served the State of Florida in numerous roles, most recently Deputy Staff Director, Office of the Majority Leader, at the Florida House of Representatives.

McLeod Glass (MBA ’05)

McLeod was recently named Vice President and General Manager for the Small and Medium Business segment of Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Server Division based in Houston. McLeod previously served in executive marketing and product management positions with Compaq, HP and Hewlett Packard Enterprise based in the U.S. and Taiwan.

Shawn Warmstein (BSBA ’05)

Shawn was promoted to Vice President at rbb Communications, a marketing and communications firm in Miami. Shawn has been with rbb since 2009, working with notable clients such as Hilton and Virgin Cruises, and leading the agency’s sports practice. He began his career at M. Silver Associates, a New York-based travel and tourism firm.

Todd Powell (MBA ’04)

Todd was selected as a member of the Spring 2016 Honorary tapping class of Florida Blue Key, the oldest and most prestigious leadership honorary organization in the state of Florida. He was formally inducted during Florida Blue Key’s Initiation and Installation Banquet on April 16. Todd is a General Manager, Real Estate Development at Weyerhaeuser Company, one of the world’s largest private owners of timberlands.

Aaron Slavens (BSBA '02) and Jordan Taylor (BSAc '03, MAcc '03, JD '06)

Aaron and Jordan recently moved their team of 11 lawyers from Greenberg Traurig to Holland & Knight, one of the largest law firms in the U.S., where they are both Partners in the corporate department. Their practices focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital raising and joint ventures.

Jack Donahue (MBA ’95, MHA ’04)

Jack was appointed Executive Vice President of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at Intermedix, a Fort-Lauderdale based company that delivers technology-enabled services and SaaS solutions to health care providers, government agencies, and corporations. In his new role, Jack will lead the EMS team, which supports 3 million patient encounters each year. Jack has been with Intermedix since 2004, and most recently served as Executive Vice President of the company’s Shared Services team.

Jeffrey Gad (BSBA ’94)

Jeffrey’s family was featured in the March 26 edition of the Tampa Tribune. His daughter, Sydney, 13, raised approximately $30,000 for pediatric brain cancer research in honor of Gabriella Miller, daughter of Mark Miller (BSESS ’94), who passed away at 10 years old. Sydney’s “Flip for a Cure campaign” was honored by the Smashing Walnuts Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Gabriella that raises money for cancer research. Jeffrey is a Partner at Akerman LLP, and is based in Tampa.

Philip Wartenberg (BSBA ’91)

Philip was named Shareholder at Allen Dell PA, a Tampa-based law firm. Philip focuses his practice on marital and family law matters. Prior to joining Allen Dell, he was a Shareholder at Wartenberg Law Group in Tampa.

Bryan Stapp (BSBA ’84)

Bryan is the President of Medical Care Alert, which received Angie’s List Super Service Award for 2015—the fourth consecutive year the company received this honor. The company, based in Northville, Mich., is a national provider of personal emergency medical alert systems for senior citizens, providing 24/7 monitoring and protection in the event of a fall or other emergency situation.
