David Flores (MSE ’13), David Molyneaux (MSE ’11), Joe Reddy (MBA ’10) and Jeremy Wright (BSAc ’09, MAcc ’09)

These four Warrington alumni were recently named to the Board of Directors of the Gainesville Area Innovation Network, which is dedicated to educating and inspiring entrepreneurs in Gainesville and throughout the state of Florida. David Flores is the CEO of Onward Development, which designs mobile and web applications for small businesses and startups; David Molyneaux is the CEO of Fish Hawk Spirits, a distillery in Ocala; Jeremy is a Manager in the Gainesville office of James Moore—CPAs; and Joe is the Entrepreneur in Residence with the Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research.

Charlie Hart (MBA ’10)

Charlie recently joined Bank of America's Equity Capital Markets team in New York covering Middle Market companies. Charlie joined the team after five years on the Bank's corporate credit platform in Atlanta. In February, Charlie and his wife, Heather, welcomed their first child, Hudson William Hart.

Mark Jaronski (MBA ’05)

Mark was named Chief Executive Officer of Select Registry, a hospitality marketing firm based in Charleston, S.C., that operates more than 325 quality-assured bed and breakfasts, inns, and boutique hotels throughout North America. He has previously served in executive communications positions at The Walt Disney Company, Darden and Visit Orlando.

Lauren Catoe (BSBA ’04) and Ilan Nieuchowicz (BSBA ’00, MIB ’01)

Lauren and Ilan were both elected as Shareholders at the law firm Carlton Fields, which has 10 offices across the nation. Lauren, based in the firm’s Tampa office, advises clients on the planning and development of large-scale, complex construction projects, with a primary focus on contract preparation, review, and negotiation. Ilan, based in West Palm Beach, is a real property and business trial lawyer representing large financial institutions, title insurers, and real estate owners, investors, developers, managers, management companies, and others in litigation.

Kenneth M. Poole, Jr. (BA ’01, MSM ’03, JD ’05)

Kenneth was named a Partner at Syprett, Meshad, Resnick, Lieb, Dumbaugh, Jones, Krotec & Westheimer, P.A., a Sarasota-based law firm. Kenneth’s practice focuses on marital, divorce and domestic-related issues. He has been with the firm since 2009.

Andrew J. Fruit (BA ’95, MBA ’99, JD ’99)

Andrew was named Partner in the Corporate Practice at the law firm Shumaker, Loop and Kendrick, which has offices in Florida, North Carolina and Ohio. Andrew, who is based in the firm’s Tampa office, has substantial experience in representing businesses and entrepreneurs involved in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and governance, commercial contracts, securities, corporate finance, and other complex business transactions.

Christian “Kit” Millan (MBA ’98)

Kit was named to Hawaii Business Magazine’s “People to Watch, Class of 2016,” recognizing “20 emerging leaders who have already made major contributions to Hawaii and whom we expect to have an even greater impact over the next two decades.” Kit is the Vice President for Asset Management at A&B Properties, a diversified real estate company headquartered in Honolulu. At A&B Properties, Kit is responsible for all of A&B’s commercial properties, including retail, office and industrial space.

Adam Pastis (BSBA ’96)

Adam was named Partner at the law firm Pearson Bitman, which has offices in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando and Tampa. His defense practice focuses on medical malpractice, insurance, healthcare, personal injury and commercial litigation. Adam, who is based in the firm’s Orlando office, was previously a Shareholder at GrayRobinson.

Arnie Bellini (BSAc ’80)

Arnie was named to CRN Magazine’s “2016 Channel Chiefs list,” honoring the most influential executives in the technology channel. Arnie is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Product Officer of ConnectWise, which provides companies a business management platform that fully integrates business-process automation, help desk, customer service, sales, marketing, project management and business analytics.

Gary Gerson (BSBA ’54, MBA ’55)

Gary was featured on March 11 in AccountingToday.com, a leading provider of online business news for the tax and accounting community. The profile highlighted his outstanding military service during the Korean War, his notable accounting career and generous philanthropy to the Fisher School of Accounting, which named its home, Gerson Hall, in Gary’s honor.
