Wade Johnson, III (MBA ’14)

Wade recently joined the law firm Broad and Cassel. Based in the firm’s Orlando office, Wade is an Associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. He previously was a commercial litigation and real estate associate at Winderweedle, Haines, Ward and Woodman in Winter Park.

Teresa Beard (BA ’96, MBA ’11)

Teresa is the new Marketing Director for Clevens Face and Body Specialists in Melbourne. She previously served as Guest Communication Manager at The Walt Disney Resort in Orlando where she oversaw the design and management of more than 700 unique, guest-facing collateral pieces.

Ben Artis (BSBA ’09)

Ben was featured in Fortune as one of “five execs changing the face of the Fortune 500.” Ben, a Senior Category Manager, Connected Home at Whirlpool, led the company’s strategic partnerships with Google’s Nest and Amazon’s Dash Replenishment Services.

Natasha Novikov (BSBA ’05)

Natasha was named the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners 2015 Certified Fraud Examiner of the Year. The award is presented to a CFE who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in the field of fraud examination. She was evaluated based on her contributions to the ACFE, profession and community.

Jennifer Lodge Grosso (BSBA ’99, JD ’02)

Jennifer, a Shareholder at the Sarasota law firm Williams Parker, has been selected as a Fellow of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Jennifer’s practice focuses on probate and trust litigation, and general commercial litigation.

Susan Thompson (MAcc '90)

Susan, a Principal at CS&L CPAs, a full-service public accounting firm headquartered in Bradenton, was recognized with the “Women to Watch” award from the Florida Institute of CPAs. The statewide honor recognizes outstanding women in the accounting industry. Susan, a licensed CPA who specializes in individuals, developers, pass-through entities, not-for-profit organizations and foundations, was honored in the “Experienced Leader” category.

Lee Wertheim (BSBA ’68)

Lee sold his CPA practice and is “semi-retired.” He stays busy consulting for Boys & Girls Club of America, and helps clubs with budget revisions and fundraising. Lee, who resides in Sevierville, Tenn., also performs special assignments for attorneys in Knoxville.

John Oliver (BSBA ’81)

John was recently named Senior Vice President of Finance for U.S. Immigration Fund—the parent company of EB-5 Regional Centers around the country that raise capital from foreign investors. John works at the company’s headquarters in Jupiter. Previously, he served as President of Anchor Commercial Bank in Juno Beach, where he was also a founding Director.
