Andrew Starling (BSBA ’11, MBA ’14, JD ’14) and Elyse Jasmund (BHS ’13, MHA ’15)

Andrew and Elyse were married May 30 at Knowles Memorial Chapel at Rollins College in Winter Park. Andrew is the Executive Manager of Starling Chevrolet Buick GMC in St. Cloud, Fla. Elyse has begun work as an Operations Project Manager at Arnold Palmer Medical Center in Orlando.

Alice Sykes (BSBA ’14)

Alice recently graduated from London Business School with a Masters in Management. She will be starting as an Associate with Red Ventures in Charlotte, N.C. this August.

Jason H. Levy (BSBA ’09, JD ’12)

Jason recently joined the law firm Blalock Walters and its Business Litigation practice area. His practice involves the litigation of business disputes, probate, estate and trust disputes, employment, and construction law-related controversies. He is based in the firm’s Bradenton office.

Joe Ketterer (BABA ’04, MHA ’06)

Joe was named Vice President of Physician Practice Management at Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart Health System in Panama City, Fla. He previously served as Physician Practice Administrator for Community Health Systems (CHS) in Bullhead City, Ariz., and Sebastian, Fla. During his time at UF, Joe was a cheerleading letter holder (1999-2005), President of Pi Kappa Alpha (2001-2002) and a member of Florida Blue Key.

Jacki Dezelski (BFAGR '94, MBA '05)

Jacki, the Executive Vice President of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, was named "Chamber Professional of the Year" by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals. The award recognizes exemplary service and outstanding or extraordinary performance in leadership, mentoring and other areas.

Brian Kaplan (BSBA ’00, MS ISOM ’01)

Brian was recently admitted as a Partner in PwC’s Atlanta office, focusing on the firm’s Entertainment, Media and Communications practice. He has led transformational initiatives involving strategy, operating model design, technology enablement, process redesign, and performance improvement. Brian has been with the firm since 2001, and most recently served as a Director of the Entertainment, Media and Communications practice.

John Eder (MBA ’97)

John was promoted to Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer at Seminole Gaming, which among its seven casinos include the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa and Hollywood, Fla. He will oversee finance, banking and investor relations, accounting and risk management among other areas. John has been with the gaming division of the Seminole Tribe of Florida since 2002, and most recently served as its Senior Vice President of Finance.

Eric Peburn (BSAc ’93, MAcc ’93)

Eric, the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Fla., was included in Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2015 “150 Hospital and Health System CFOs to Know.” The list honors the nation’s top finance executives guiding their healthcare organizations. Eric has been with Halifax Health since 1996, and has served as the organization’s Corporate Controller, Director of Finance and Assistant Administrator before becoming CFO in 2007.

Mark Knauf (BSAc ’91)

Mark was recently named Controller of WhereverTV Broadcasting Corp., a leader in delivering Over the Top (OTT) subscription television services. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Amscot Financial in Tampa, and has been a CPA for the past 22 years at his own firm, Mark H. Knauf, CPA, in Englewood, Fla.

Mark White (BSBA ’85)

Mark was recently promoted to Senior Vice President, Field Merchandising and MET at The Home Depot. He leads a team of more than 24,000 associates to deliver in-store merchandising solutions. Previously, Mark has served as President of Mosaic North America, Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Acosta Sales and Marketing, and numerous roles in marketing, finance, manufacturing and field sales with Procter & Gamble.

Jorge L. Benitez (BSAc ’81)

Jorge was recently appointed to the Fifth Third Bancorp Board of Directors. Jorge, who serves on the College’s Business Advisory Council, retired last year from Accenture after more than 33 years of service—the last three years of which he served as the firm’s Chief Executive of North America.
