Carlos R. Perez (BSBA ’88) and C. Kyle Moore (BSBA ’05, MBA ’12)

Carlos (left) was promoted to Vice President, Team Credit Manager of TD Bank’s Commercial Real Estate team in Florida. He will also lead the Credit Management Team. Carlos, based in Boca Raton, has 26 years of banking and credit management experience. Kyle was named Vice President, Credit Manager at TD Bank’s Commercial Real Estate’s Credit Management Team. Based in Tampa, Kyle is responsible for structuring and underwriting new deals, completing approval packages, renewals and extensions, as well as a range of portfolio monitoring duties.

Rachel Goldberg (BSBA ’10, MHA ’12) and Sam Warfield (BSBA ’08, JD ’11)

Sam and Rachel are pleased to announce their engagement. Rachel currently serves as the administrator of the Geriatric and Pulmonary Divisions at Montefiore Medical Center. Sam is currently a fourth-year Merger and Acquisitions associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. The couple resides in New York, and their wedding is planned for November.

Mike Preston (BSBA ’05)

Governor Asa Hutchinson selected Mike as the new Executive Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. Mike has years of statewide economic development and business expertise having previously served as Vice President for Government Affairs at Enterprise Florida where he was part of a team that helped create more than 147,000 jobs and generated $10.07 billion in capital investment.

Jordan Taylor (BSAc ’03, MAcc ’03, JD ’06)

Jordan was recently promoted to Shareholder in the Miami office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig. He is a member of the corporate and securities practice groups, and focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and other general corporate matters. He also has a background in telecommunications and technology law. Jordan welcomes Warrington alumni to reach out to him on LinkedIn.

Sasha A. Klein (BSBA ’01, LL.M ’06)

Sasha has joined Sabadell Bank & Trust as Senior Vice President, Director of Trust and Wealth Services in the bank’s Palm Beach office. She will be responsible for providing the wealth and advisory services to high net worth customers. Prior to Sabadell Bank & Trust, Sasha served as Fiduciary Counsel to Bessemer Trust, where she directed the fiduciary risk management group and chaired the Special Investment and Discretionary Committee.

Robert Noroña, (BSBA ’97)

Robert was named Senior Vice President at Ocean Bank. He was previously the manager of the bank’s Small Business Lending Department. Robert joined Ocean Bank in 1997 as a credit analyst.

Bob Page (BSBA, ’82)

Bob was appointed to the national Board of Directors of the Independence Community Bankers of America (ICBA). ICBA is an advocate for community banks, and it provides products and services to its member banks to enhance their service. Bob is the Executive Vice President of Florida Citizens Bank, and has 30 years of community banking experience.

Cesar L. Alvarez (BSBA ’69, MBA ’70, JD ’72)

Cesar, along with his brothers, Arturo (BA ’70, JD ’72) and Carlos (BA ’72), received the Gran Caimán Award from the UF Association of Hispanic Alumni during the organization’s annual Gator Guayabera Guateque. The Gran Caimán Award is given annually to outstanding members of UF’s Hispanic alumni community who are both great representatives of UF, as well as strong contributors to the educational, cultural or social communities in which they participate, or persons who have contributed to UF in a meaningful way to benefit Hispanic students or the Hispanic community. Cesar is the immediate past CEO and Executive Chairman, and current Co-Chairman of Greenberg Traurig, one of the nation’s largest law firms, and works from the firm’s Miami office.
