Susan Cameron (BSBA ’80)

Susan, the Chief Executive Officer of Reynolds American, Inc., orchestrated the largest tobacco merger in decades when the Federal Trade Commission approved Reynolds American’s $27.4 billion acquisition of Lorillard, Inc. It is believed to be the largest deal ever led by a woman.

Michael Gutman (BSBA ’04, MBA ’10)

Michael was recently appointed Vice President and Business Banker, Broward County at City National Bank of Florida. He most recently served as Vice President and Relationship Manager with Capital Bank’s commercial banking group.

Tim Giuliani (MBA ’09)

Tim was selected as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. Tim had served in the same position at the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce for the past three years.

Robert A. Heekin, Jr. (BABA ’00, JD ’03)

Robert was profiled in the March 11 issue of the Jacksonville Daily Record. The story detailed his military service with the U.S. Army, his family life and his career as an attorney. Robert is a Partner with the Jacksonville law firm of Thames Markey & Heekin, P.A.

Justin Price (BSBA ’08)

Out of a field of more than 1,200, Justin finished in the top 10 of Operation: Take Command, a competition where a U.S. Military veteran would be awarded a 7-Eleven franchise. The competition included meeting 7-Eleven’s franchising qualifications, interviews and a Facebook video contest. Justin, who lives in Charlotte, N.C., served for four years in the Army’s 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment.

Jennifer Whiteman (MAcc, ’99)

Jennifer was recently promoted to Chief Financial Officer of Patriot Rail, a leading operator of short line and regional freight railroads. She previously served as Patriot Rail’s Vice President, Finance and Accounting, where she successfully led the corporate centralization of the finance and accounting groups, while simultaneously spearheading a corporate-wide SAP implementation.
