Kendall Spencer (BSBA ’74)

Kendall has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Jacksonville Bancorp, Inc., and the CEO of The Jacksonville Bank. Kendall has more than 30 years of executive and senior-level commercial bank leadership and management experience.

Krishna Memani (MA Economics ’82, MBA ’84)

Krishna has been appointed Chief Investment Officer of OppenheimerFunds. He previously served as Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income.

David Weiss (BSBA ’83)

David, CEO of uVu Technologies, was featured in the December 2013 edition of CoffeeTalk Magazine. His company is spearheading the effort to produce safer food and beverage packaging.

Roddy Melendez (BSBA ’92, BSAc ’95)

Rodrigo has been named Managing Partner at KPMG’s Miami office. He previously served as an Audit Partner in the South Florida Business Unit.

Bryan Stolz (BSBA ’94)

Bryan was named the General Manager of the Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Coralville, Iowa. He most recently served as Director of Hotel operations at the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles in Washington D.C.

Richard Hatfield (Ph.D., ’98)

Richard was recently named Editor of Behavioral Research in Accounting, one of the accounting field’s leading journals. He is the Ernst & Young Professor of Accounting at the Culverhouse School of Accountancy at the University of Alabama.

Gavin MacMillan (BSBA ’03)

Gavin has joined the law firm McGlinchey Stafford in its Fort Lauderdale office. Gavin has experience representing financial services clients in contested foreclosure actions, real property litigation and title disputes.

Kim Kaupe (BSBA ’08)

Kim was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Music List. Kim is the co-founder of ’ZinePak, which creates custom, interactive publications for targeted super-fans of music, movies, sports, events and brands.
