Heavener Career Week - Spring 2017

Heavener Hall  |  January 23-27, 2017

Give Back, Find Top Talent

HCW is designed to provide employers with access to top Heavener students. Employers will facilitate on a 50-minute interactive career topic of their choice with a group between 10 to 50 students. Topics range from career paths, diversity in the workforce, interviewing, and company culture. Employers will also have a chance to recruit students for available internships and full-time job opportunities. In addition, two HCW employer/student mixers provide recruiters additional opportunities to engage students in unique ways.

Why Participate?

Give back and find results. Heavener students are looking to connect. Inspire young minds, build trust, enhance their professionalism, expand opportunities, and in the process students may come to realize your company is the perfect fit for them. HCW is more than a generic employer career fair, it’s a chance to build your company brand inside Heavener, develop a pipeline of young talent for future opportunities, and receive streamline access to business and accounting majors.

More Than A Career Fair

Attracting over 1,500 business students annually, HCW hosts an average of 15 employer sessions daily over the week. A collaboration among professors and student organizations, attendance at HCW is strongly encouraged and required in some classes. Companies can find new talent and have a chance to interact with students previously unavailable.
