Career and Academic Peer (CAP) Mentors
CAP Mentors specialize in providing undergraduate business majors with professional career development to acquire great internships. These mentors are Heavener’s most successful third and fourth year students who have successfully completed at least one internship and want to share their internship experiences with others. Current and former CAP mentors have interned at companies such as Google, Proctor and Gamble, the U.S. Department of Commerce, March of Dimes, Nielsen, Deloitte, ADT Securities, Bank of America, and General Electric.

These part-time employees have completed over 30 hours of intensive career training to help business majors just like you find great internships. Mentors specialize in resume writing, providing mock interviews, and pinpointing career resources for your personal success. They work closely with Heavener advisors to ensure awareness of leadership opportunities at UF and new internship opportunities around the country.
