Leadership Development Program
The Leadership Development Program was developed to help students gain professional and academic skills that they will need after their undergraduate experience.
First Year Programs
Warrington Welcome (SLS1102) is a one-credit transition course for freshmen designed to promote a sense of community in the College and to assist our students with various academic and personal goals.
Business Undergraduate Mentorship Program (BUMP) focuses on developing the holistic student by creating opportunities for students to develop academically, professionally, and personally.
Lead. Encourage. Achieve. Promote. (LEAP) provides students with the opportunity to learn leadership skills by drawing upon leadership models, as well as exploring the ideas of leadership in the community, academics, and business world. Students will then apply these skills to real world projects gaining leadership experience.
Enactus is an international, nonprofit organization that works as a partnership between corporations and higher education to teach young people about business fundamentals.
Second Year Programs
The Florida Leadership Academy (FLA) provides professional development training for the top 100 sophomore students in the Warrington College of Business Administration.
Business Undergraduate Mentorship Program (BUMP) - Mentee - focuses on developing the holistic student by creating opportunities for students to develop academically, professionally, and personally.

Business Case Analysis (GEB3523) - prerequisite for Student Delegations - This course is designed to introduce the topic of business case analysis and to prepare students for national and international business case competitions. Email for more information (leadership at warrington.ufl.edu).
Student Delegations are sent each year to undergraduate business conferences and competitions. Students are selected in the Fall for delegations during the academic year and preference is given for students in the Business Case Analysis Course and for participation in one of our Student Leadership Programs. Warrington College of Business Administration Hall of Fame – graduating senior - reserved for those students who have shown truly superior leadership and achievement through their activities and scholarship while members of the WCBA community. Student Organization Support
Executive Board Retreat is held both in Fall & Spring, for officers of student organizations affiliated with the College. This event gives officers a chance to interact with each other and learn skills valuable to their leadership role or to enhancing their organization.
