Program Guidelines

Eligibility

Business and accounting majors with a 3.25 or better UF GPA are eligible to participate in the University Scholars Program. Students must meet eligibility requirements at the time of application.

University Scholars are required to enroll in a "Special Topics" course (GEB 4906) in the Summer C, Fall, and Spring semesters. Upon completion of the research project, students must write a properly formatted research paper and submit it to the UF Journal of Undergraduate Research (JUR) or to another scholarly journal for publication. Students are also required to give an oral presentation on their research at the University Scholars Symposium, which is held in April.
