Online Business Courses
For UF Students Away from Gainesville

Each semester, the Heavener School of Business provides UF students who are away from Gainesville with the opportunity to take our business courses online. Students are able to view campus lectures via streaming video and take proctored exams on specific evenings at one of 26 test sites in Florida. To participate, you must meet course prerequisites and have a GatorLink account. Note: Campus-based students who are in Gainesville are not permitted to register for these courses.

Non-Florida Residents: You are welcome to enroll in online business courses while you are away from Gainesville, but you will need to make travel arrangements to an established Florida test site up to four times per term per course to take exams. The program currently offers no test sites outside of Florida.

Registration

Business majors who want to take an online course away from Gainesville should complete the following steps:

  1. Obtain approval from an academic advisor in 233 Bryan Hall;
  2. Submit an online request form (see below); and
  3. Register for the course using a special section number which will be emailed to you 1-2 days after after you submit the form.

If you are not a business major, you can submit the form without an advisor’s approval; however, you should check the course prerequisites in the Undergraduate Catalog.

Access the online course request form.
