Video Lectures
Effective Monday, May 21, 2012, access to lectures will be restricted to currently enrolled students.Students enrolled in MAR3231 section 7203 is considered a live section and will not have access to the video lectures due to departmental policy.
Recorded lectures are available via the options listed below and usually post about one hour after class ends. Please follow the instructions and or call the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) at 352-273-0248, if you have problems.
TAC Web PageLogging In
To view your lectures, you will be prompted to log in. Use your GatorLink credentials but type "ufad\" in front of your username. So if your GatorLink username is "Gator" you would enter your username as "ufad\Gator".
- Correct: ufad\YourGatorLinkUsername
- Incorrect: ufad/YourGatorLinkUsername (do not use a forward slash)
- Incorrect: ufad\YourGatorLinkUsername@ufl.edu (do not use your full GatorLink email)

Subscribing to a Feed
- Follow the link for your class; this will open the feed in iTunes.

Log in using your GatorLink credentials.
Username: ufad\GatorLinkID - iTunes will download the latest video.
Configuring Automatic Download
- Whenever iTunes is open it will automatically check your podcast subscriptions for updates, downloading new files as they become available.
- If a podcast goes unwatched for a certain length of time iTunes will stop updating it. If this happens, right-click on the podcast name and select "Update Podcast;" iTunes will then update the feed and download the latest file. Click "Get All" to have iTunes download all missing files.
Configuring Manual Download
If iTunes did not download a file from your subscription, you can manually start
the download.
- To download all missing lectures at once click "Get All" next to the podcast name.
- To download select lectures
- Expand the podcast by clicking on the arrow (triangle) next to podcast's name.
- Click "Get" next to the file name.
Watching Videos
- Launch iTunes.
- Select Podcasts from the Library.
- Click on the triangle next to the class name; this will expand the list and allow you to chose a lecture.
- Either double-click the lecture or select it and press play.
Download
PC Supported. Windows Media files available in
either high-quality (HQ) or small file size (56k).
Google Chrome is not supported.

- High-quality (HQ) files offer better video, but are large (approximately 200MB each).
- 56k files are much smaller, around 15MB each, but sacrifice video quality.

Username: ufad\GatorLinkID - After logging in, the file will download.
Stream
PC Supported. Windows Media files available in
either high-quality (HQ) or small file size (56k).

- If the video has frequent interruptions consider using the 56k version.
