Academic Probation

The School of Business closely monitors the academic progress of its students, requiring them to maintain a 2.0 UF, core, and major or area of specialization GPA. Students who do not meet these requirements are placed on academic probation for a maximum of two semesters.

Students who are placed on academic probation will receive a registration hold on their record and will be required to meet with an academic advisor to discuss the terms of their probation contract, as well as strategies for improving their academic performance. Students who do not meet the terms of their probation will be prohibited from continuing in a business major.
