U.S. News surveyed deans and senior faculty at the 300+ undergraduate business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business in spring 2005. Participants were asked to rate the quality of all programs they are familiar with on a scale of 1 (marginal) to 5 (distinguished). The rankings are based solely on this survey; 45 percent of those surveyed responded. Deans and faculty were also asked to nominate the best programs in specialty areas; schools offering any courses in a specialty were eligible to be ranked in that specialty.

Florida MBA Ranked in Top 25 of Business Schools by Business 2.0

The University of Florida was named in the Top 25 Best ROI MBA Programs in the September 2005 issue of Business 2.0. Florida is one of only 10 public universities included in the ranking. The Florida MBA was ranked among the Top 25 based on schools whose students scored highest on the GMAT.

Programs showcased by Business 2.0 proved they offer a substantial return on investment (ROI) and the ability to attract recruiters and help graduates find work. The University of Florida continues to maximize the MBA experience and the program's value.

Business 2.0 surveyed MBA programs based on information from the Princeton Review and student scores on the GMAT. Schools surveyed provided data on quality assessment, placement success, and student selectivity.

The Florida MBA Program was also ranked in the Top 50 of recognized MBA programs around the world by U.S.News & World Report. For the complete listings and other rankings, see our Web site at: www.floridamba.ufl.edu/rankings.asp.

As part of the state’s flagship university, the Florida MBA Program is serious in its commitment to the future of commerce in the state. To support this mission, we have created a unique program and an amazing opportunity for corporations operating in Florida: the Florida Corporate Alliance Scholarship (FCAS). The Florida MBA Program will provide 20 of the state’s top business people with full scholarships to attend our nationally ranked MBA program. It’s an incredible ROI for businesses and rising corporate stars. It’s also an opportunity for the Florida MBA Program to fulfill its mission of developing future business leaders—an alliance that will promote economic growth in the state by raising the level of managerial skills of professionals throughout Florida.

Students who receive the FCAS earn their MBA in 12 months, in our One-year MBA Option A Program, and can specialize their degree in finance, marketing, supply chain management, and other areas.
