Retailing Smarter Symposium

Each year the Retail Center offers an executive continuing education symposium specifically designed for retailers. A group of senior retail executives from leading firms are assembled to focus on topics of strategic importance to retailers. The executives candidly share information and new ideas that are working to keep their organizations ahead of their competition.

The annual Retailing Smarter Symposium brings together a diverse group of retail and industry participants for two days of speakers, panels, roundtables and networking.

The hotel rate is $169.00 per night for single or double occupancy..

Reservations can be made directly with the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, at 1-407-390-6664. When making reservations, be sure to mention that you will be attending the University of Florida Retailing Symposium. Reservations should be made no later than May 24, 2009.

Cancellations will be 72 hours prior to arrival, and a cancellation number is obtained. If the reservation is no longer required and is not cancelled prior to this time, the reservation will be released and subsequent room and tax charges will be billed to the credit card on file. An early departure fee of $50.00 will be charged for guests who depart one or more days prior to their scheduled departure date.
