The Department of Management includes faculty members who research and teach in various areas of Management and Legal Studies. We have a vibrant faculty with strong research agendas and who contribute to important and innovative programs. A few years ago, the Department of Management set out to build a world class department. As Department Chair, I would like to inform you of our success in reaching that goal. The Department has developed outstanding Legal Studies and Management groups. Our Legal Studies Group has produced a variety of scholarly monographs, books, and law review articles. During 2004 and 2005 our Management Group published 24 top-tier journal articles; a joint study confirms that this level of productivity is more than any other Management Department in the Association of American Universities (AAU), which represents the 62 most prominent research universities in North America. I am also proud to note that our faculty includes three Distinguished Early Career Contributions Award Winners from the Society of Industrial & Organizational Psychologists (1995, 2004 & 2005). I invite you to visit the home pages of our outstanding faculty.
