Craig W. Petrus

Craig W. Petrus joined the Hough Graduate School of Business in June of 2009. As Director, Craig is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Graduate Business Career Services and ensuring the delivery of quality career development programming and services to students within the Hough Graduate School of Business. In this capacity, Craig leads his team towards continuous corporate development, along with working one-on-one with the graduate business students in providing career counseling, career coaching, obtaining internships, and ultimately securing employment in their fields of study upon graduation. Overall, Craig and his team are responsible for providing services to the MBA, MSE, MSF, MSM, MIB, MSRE and ISOM programs within the graduate school of business.
Prior to arriving at the University of Florida, Craig was an executive recruiter with two of the world's leading executive search firms, Korn/Ferry International and Spencer Stuart. In these roles, Craig was responsible for placing C-level and VP-level executives at companies such as Assurant Group, Akerman-Senterfit, BankAtlantic, Baptist Health South Florida, Bijoux Terner, Coca-Cola, DHL, Florida Power & Light, Hawaiian Airlines, Jabil, Microsoft, Paxar Corporation, PBS&J, Puma Energy, Pinnacle Airlines, Ryder, Winn-Dixie and ZipCar.
Prior to his career in executive search, Craig had a successful eleven year career within the professional sports industry, working in sales and marketing roles for both the Miami Heat and the Florida Panthers. Craig holds a B.S. Degree in Sports Management from Barry University along with an MBA from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University.

Senior Associate Director, Career Development and Special Events

As one of our Associate Director's, Graduate Business Career Services, Ana is responsible for advising MIB and MSM students on job and internship search related strategies and providing résumé and cover letter critiques, along with presenting career development workshops. Additionally, she also initiates contact with new corporate clients in order to arrange a corporate recruiting partnership with GBCS.
Ana previously worked at FIU's Graduate Career Services office in Miami, and has over 15 years experience working in the private sector with companies such as Nortel Networks, Cordis Corporation and Burdines (now Macy's). She has worked in various roles with human resources, supply chain management, contract management and operations. She received her BA from Florida International University in 1985.

Jason Rife is currently the Associate Director of MBA Career Services for the Hough Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida. Immediately prior to joining UF, Jason was a strategy consultant for McKinsey & Company, focusing on operational transformations and sales capability building with numerous Fortune 500 clients. He has also held strategy, planning and program management roles at John Deere and ExxonMobil. While at McKinsey and Deere, Jason served on MBA recruiting teams, helping to identify, select and retain top candidates. Jason received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Duke University. He resides in Gainesville with his wife and daughter.

Michelle Bloom-Lugo is an Associate Director within the Graduate Business Career Services office (GBCS), responsible for advising our ISOM, MSE and MSRE students. She comes to the University of Florida having worked as both a Senior Corporate Recruiter and a Director of Human Resources.
With over ten years of corporate world experience, Michelle’s career spans that of corporate recruiting and human resources roles, having worked in this capacity with such companies as Infinite Energy, Sallie Mae, the University of Florida, City University of New York and Quantum Management Services located in New York City.
While at Quantum Management Services, a talent acquisition firm specializing in executive and IT recruitment, she was responsible for sourcing and recruitment of executives into major Fortune 500 companies, including many investment banking firms headquartered in New York.

Leigh Hall is an Associate Director in the Graduate Business Career Services (GBCS) office, responsible for advising and providing career direction for students within the Hough Graduate School of Business Specialty Master Programs. Since graduating from the University of Florida in 2002, Leigh’s career has been focused in the areas of corporate recruiting and human resources. She has experience in a multitude of different industries and companies, ranging from small business to Fortune 500.
Leigh began her career at Bank of America’s corporate headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina as a Corporate Recruiter. During her career at Bank of America, she focused on job placement for multiple lines of business including Technology, Service and Fulfillment, Quality and Productivity, and Global Treasury Services. After Bank of America, Leigh relocated back to Gainesville and was a Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter for Cox Communications where she provided end to end support in all functional areas of HR including recruiting. Most recently and prior to joining the GBCS team, Leigh was the Human Resources Manager for ABC Research Laboratories, a small business made up of approximately 85 employees. Leigh has a widespread understanding of the process of talent acquisition, procurement and placement in many different capacities through her career experience.
