Joint JD/MSRE Degree Program

Requirements

Admission to the Nathan S. Collier Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) Program is competitive and based on a number of factors including the applicant's GMAT score and academic record. Prior course work in finance, accounting, business statistics or economics is preferable but not required.

Students must apply separately to each program and meet the admissions requirements for both the College of Law and the Master of Real Estate Program. Students may begin one of the two programs before acceptance in the other. However, to qualify for joint degree status, current law students must be admitted into the MSRE Program by the end of their fourth law school semester, and while they still have at least 12 more credits to earn toward their Law degree.

Admissions procedures for students applying to the Real Estate Master's program as joint JD/MSRE students are the same as for other students admitted to the MSRE Program except that the professional work experience component is less important. Also, current UF Law Students in the Comparative & Tax Programs do not complete the UF Admissions application.
