You will receive/have received your Bachelor's degree (from UF or other institution) BEFORE you begin MSM courses. Once enrolled in MSM you may attend full-time or part-time and we will code you appropriately upon orientation.
International - Traditional Option
You will receive/have received your Bachelor's degree BEFORE you begin MSM courses and you are NOT a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Once enrolled in MSM you may attend full-time due to visa regulations or be registered for a minimum of nine credits to achieve full-time graduate student status. Learn more about the International option.
You are a current UF undergraduate and you wish to enroll in MSM courses BEFORE you receive your UF Bachelor's degree. You may enroll after you have completed 90 undergraduate credit hours. Typical Bachelor/Master overlap time is 1-2 semesters. Learn more about the Combined option.
Joint and Concurrent
You are CURRENTLY enrolled in a UF graduate or professional program and intend to begin MSM coursework BEFORE you receive the first graduate/professional degree. If you are not currently enrolled in a graduate or professional program but wish to pursue a concurrent degree later after application and admission to another program, please apply as if you are "Traditional" and we can re-classify you at a later date. View the Concurrent and Joint Degree pages for more information.
**Any candidate who does not easily fall into an above category should contact the MSM program office for deadline and application advice.
We do NOT offer distance learning, evening or weekend courses for the above options.
