All incoming students are required to participate in an orientation at the beginning of their first term of enrollment in the program. The orientation features presentations on the program's curriculum and future employment opportunities. Students have the opportunity to meet the faculty and their peers in the program. There is a $350 non-refundable fee which covers the cost of a meal, name plate and photo book as well as professional development activities for the duration of the Master's program.
There is also an orientation sponsored by the Graduate School that students are encouraged to attend.
