Financing The Hough DBA
How you finance your DBA is an important factor in your DBA experience. We have resources available to help answer your financial aid, GI Bill, and scholarship questions. General financial aid information, including the FAFSA application, is available through the University of Florida's Office of Student Financial Affairs (SFA).
Applying for Financial Aid
Students pursuing an DBA at the University of Florida may apply for financial aid even before they are admitted into their program. The Office for Student Financial Affairs is responsible for determining eligibility and the processing of any financial aid offered to University of Florida students. Additionally, two dedicated financial aid coordinators reside within Hough Hall to assist prospective and current DBA students.
Upon notice of admission, you can check the status of your financial aid online through ISIS – The University of Florida Integrated Student Information System. More detailed questions involving financial aid should be directed to a DBA financial aid coordinator.
Please be sure to keep your address updated with the UF Registrar's Office. All correspondences, and checks, are mailed to addresses on file with the Registrar's office.
Federal Student Loans
Federal student loans are the primary source of funding for DBA students. The University of Florida requires any student who wishes to be considered for a federal student loan to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the web. This can be done prior to receiving your admissions decision to your program; however the determination and processing of your loan will not occur until you have been admitted. Students must either be a U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien in order to be eligible for federal student loans.
