A Few Words from the Editor...
On behalf of The Staff of The Fisherman, I would like to welcome all of you back! The Fisherman is not your typical college newsletter. We like to think of ourselves as a survival guide for the students of the Fisher School of Accounting. You may wonder, 'When is the next Fisher School of Accounting Council meeting?' 'How will I impress my interviewer?' 'What in the world is happening with (or what in the world is) IFRS?' Or, most importantly, 'How will I survive Dr. D's class?' Check the Fisherman.
Our goal is to help students navigate and succeed in the Fisher School of Accounting. We are a newsletter created by, for, and about the students. We have lots of exciting articles about current financial events, events on campus, and tips and advice from fellow students. New issues are available the 1st and 15th of every month, so be sure to check the boxes in the J.
