Annual Scholarships
The following scholarships are awarded annually on a merit basis. The awards are based on the information contained in the applicant's program application as well as on campus interviews. All students accepted into the Nathan S. Collier MSRE program are automatically considered for these scholarships.
Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies MSRE Scholarship
These funds are provided by UF Real Estate Adivisory Board members, UF-FARE members, and others who contribute to this scholarship fund.

Ken Mamula Scholarship
This annual scholarship is funded by Ken Mamula of Tampa, President of Florida Southeast Development Corporation, UF Real Estate Advisory Board member, and provides a rent free 3 bedroom/2 bath luxury scholarship apartment in Windmeadows for two MSRE students.

Maury Carter Scholarship
This annual scholarship is provided by alumnus Daryl Carter, President of Maury L. Carter & Associates, Inc. and UF Real Estate Advisory Board member. This scholarship is given in honor of Daryl's father, Maury Carter.

Endowed Scholarships
Dairell J. Snapp Real Estate Scholarship
Alumnus, Mr. DJ Snapp, of North Palm Beach, endowed a scholarship fund for real estate students in 2005. Scholarships will soon be available from this fund.
Dan and Cheryl Dupree Real Estate Scholarship
Mr. Dan Dupree and his wife, of Atlanta, endowed a scholarship fund for real estate students in 2000.

Other Scholarships Opportunities
The awarding of the following scholarships is not directly controlled by UF's faculty and staff. However, many of our students have received scholarship awards from these sources in recent years.
Appraisal Institute Scholarship
The Appraisal Institute offers $3,000 graduate scholarships for students with an interest in real estate appraisal. Students should request applications for these scholarships either from the University (Pam DeMichele) or the Appraisal Institute.

CCIM Institute Scholarship
The CCIM Institute, which offers the prestigious CCIM designation, has typically reserved a $1,000 scholarship, plus complimentary enrollment in the CI 103 Course (tuition value of this course is over $1000), for one of our real estate students each year. CCIM requests the nomination of three students for consideration annually and selects the awardee in the fall semester.

Florida Caribbean Institute (FCI) Scholarship
The Florida Caribbean Scholarship Program offers out-of-state tuition waivers for qualified Caribbean students to attend any of Florida's public universities or community colleges.
Florida Real Estate Commission Scholarship Program
This scholarship program will provide up to $2,500 per semester for qualified graduate students, is renewable on a semester-by-semester basis, and contingent upon funding. It is not yet funded for the 2008-09 academic year, but is searching for a third party benefactor. The applicant should express a desire for a career in the real estate industry and need for educational financial assistance while demonstrating an active community service record, pursuing a concentration in real estate at Florida, and meeting Florida residency requirements.

Jackie Tuckfield Memorial Graduate Business Scholarship Fund
This scholarship fund awards $1,000 and $2,000 scholarships to African-American U.S. citizens who are residents of South Florida and enrolled full-time in graduate business degree programs at Florida universities. Applicants must plan to pursue their professional careers in South Florida.
Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) Scholarship
PREA scholarships of $500 to $5,000 are available to Master's degree students majoring or concentrating in real estate. Please visit the Pension Real Estate Association or the Robert Tiogo Foundation Website for more information.

UF Graduate Minority Programs' Scholarships
The UF Office of Graduate Minority Programs spearheads the UF Graduate School's contribution to campus diversity by working for the recruitment, retention and graduation of minority and underrepresented students in master's degree and doctoral degree programs.
It has a twofold mission:
- Increasing the number of graduate students from underrepresented ethnic or racial groups: African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Native Alaskans (Aleuts and Eskimos), Native Americans and Native Pacific Islanders.
- Providing prospective and enrolled graduate students in underrepresented demographic groups with material aid and mentoring to help in their successful pursuit of a graduate school education.
It accomplishes this mission through a variety of programs, services and support initiatives, including:
