Entrepreneurship Case Lecture Series
Students often have a very "silo-based functional" view of entrepreneurial management situations and lack the understanding that entrepreneurs often share the same challenging and emotional experiences…with respect to Robert Frost: many entrepreneurs travel the same road!
Established in 2009, the Entrepreneurship Case Lecture Series brings individuals to campus to discuss the range of "emotional" management situations that present themselves throughout the entirety of the entrepreneurial lifecycle (e.g. embezzlement, lawsuit, cash crunch, PR crisis, liquidity, etc). In addition, the series seeks to enhance student understanding of topics relevant to entrepreneurship and innovation, provide the background necessary for students interested in entrepreneurial careers, and introduce students to resources in the entrepreneurial arena while providing a forum for networking and career development.
