Certificates and Concentrations

Entrepreneurial activities are indeed creating the wealth of nations. A recent study of global entrepreneurship concludes that as much as one-third of differences in national economic growth in developed countries can be attributed to entrepreneurial activities.

CEI's certificate programs are designed to provide graduate students the opportunity to pursue careers in the new entrepreneurial economy or to pursue their own venture either upon graduation or at some point later in their careers. The Certificate in New Venture creation is open to any graduate student at the University of Florida. The Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology Management is open to MBA students only.

CEI's certificate programs are designed to provide graduate students in the Warrington College of Business Administration the opportunity to pursue careers in the new entrepreneurial economy or to pursue their own venture either upon graduation or at some point later in their careers.

In addition to the Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology Management, MBA students can pursue a concentration in entrepreneurship. This concentration will provide MBA students with experience in researching and developing a viable business plan for a new venture.
