    Bio:
    Vashkar is currently pursuing his Ph.D in Information Systems and Operations Management. Vashkar holds M.S in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. He has previously worked as a Manufacturing Engineer prior to joining the doctoral program and has experience as an Assistant Systems Engineer.

    His research interest includes supply chain management, channel coordination and pricing strategies for supply chain. His research primarily focuses on providing insights into operational and managerial problems that lie at the interface of Operations Management with Information Systems and Marketing.

    Bio:
    Mahdi Moqri is a PhD Candidate in Information Systems. During his PhD, he founded ISOM Analytics Lab at the department, and worked as a Data Science Fellow at University of Chicago and Georgia Tech. Before joining UF in 2013, he received his MBA from the UMass-Boston and before that, he received an MSc in Industrial Engineering - Socioeconomics Information Systems and a BSc in Computer Science from IUST and Sharif University of Technology. His favorite types of analyses are social network analysis. large scale data mining, machine learning, econometrics, and text Mining.
