Prior to joining the Ph.D. program Dominique worked two and a half years as a risk manager for Bank Julius Baer & Co Ltd., where he specialized in credit- and market risk. Dominique is a CFA charterholder and earned his MSc from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, majoring in Mathematics. His current research interests include corporate finance and credit markets. -

Prior to entering the Ph.D. program at UF in 2011 Aaron received dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics at the University of Delaware. Choosing to pursue a path in the social sciences, he then received his Master of Arts in Economics while performing cost modeling research for the Center for Composite Materials at the University of Delaware. His current research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, market microstructure and regulations of financial institutions. -

Charlie earned his B.S. degree in Business Administration and Finance from Central Washington University in 2009. He then spent several years working in the aerospace industry, both as a subcontract administrator and a financial analyst. Currently, Charlie is pursuing his doctorate and is interested in researching corporate governance and market microstructure. -

Victor earned an MBA with concentrations in Finance and International Business from Rollins College, where he was awarded a full scholarship. He is a CFA charterholder and has passed Level 1 of the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) program. Prior to entering the Ph.D. program at the University of Florida, Victor worked as a director of valuations for PCE, a FINRA-registered boutique investment banking firm in Winter Park, Florida. Victor has also been an instructor on valuations for the American Society of Appraisers. Victor is pursuing his doctorate and is interested in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, corporate finance, behavioral finance, illiquid assets and capital markets. -

Prior to entering the Ph.D. Program at the University of Florida, Yong received his B.S. degree and M.Phil. degree in Risk Management Science, both from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also studied at Nanyang Technological University as a Temasek Foundation LEaRN Scholar and University of Toronto as an exchange student. Additionally, his paper won the best student paper award for the 2nd international annual conference of operations research and statistics and he is a FRM holder. Yong’s current research interests include corporate finance, asset pricing, behavioral finance and market microstructure. -

Yan graduated from Tongji University with a B.S. degree in Engineering Management and worked as a senior design management officer for K.Wah Group for three and half years. Prior to entering the Ph.D. Program, Yan earned her MSRE and MBA degrees at the University of Florida. Additionally, she is a CFA Institute member and has successfully completed all three levels of the CFA Program in two years. Yan's current research interests include market microstructure, alternative investments and corporate finance. -

Prior to attending the University of Florida's doctoral program, Sabuhi worked as a financial analyst for Sprint Corporation's Corporate Financial Planning Division at their headquarters in Kansas City. His current research is in the areas of 401(k) retirement accounts, mutual funds and other empirical corporate finance and investments topics. -

Prior to becoming a Ph.D. Candidate in Finance at the University of Florida, Stace earned his B.S. in Finance from Florida State University. His dissertation focuses on credit risk topics, such as the impact of sovereign risk on private sector firms and momentum between the CDS and stock markets. He also has working papers related to real estate, behavioral finance, and the municipal bond market. Stace will be on the job market during the 2013-2014 academic year. -

Matt earned a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University, where he graduated as a University Honors Scholar after the publication of his honors thesis. He then went on to obtain his M.S. in Mathematical Finance from UNC-Charlotte. Before coming to UF, Matt spent a year working with the Systematic Equity team at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management in San Diego, where he performed research on transaction cost optimization and portfolio factor construction for the company's quantitatively-driven strategies. Matt's current research interests include hedge funds and mutual funds. -
