PURC/CLA Executive Development Series for Utility Commissioners: Leadership in Utilities Policy
July 23, 2005
Austin, Texas, USA
Utility commissioners studied adaptive leadership by examining case studies in adaptive challenges in regulation. They explored models of adaptive leadership, engaged in dialogue about the knowledge and skills necessary for exercising leadership in regulation, and discovered new tools, resources and paradigms for facing what many see as insurmountable challenges.
In attendance were officials from the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission and the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission. PURC associates Robert Rowe of Balhoff & Rowe, LLC, Robert Gee of Gee Strategies Group LLC, Julia Johnson of NetCommunications, Inc. and Brett Perlman of Vector Advisors assisted in developing and facilitating the workshop.
This program was designed by PURC and delivered in partnership with Cambridge Leadership Associates.
