PURC/MDTE Training Program in Basic Regulatory Principles: Energy and Telecommunications

Agency staff studied concepts and key regulatory principles, their applicability in different situations, and techniques for making sound policy choices. Session topics included rate design, price caps, market power, techniques for assessing firm efficiency, and transparency in regulatory processes.

This course was specifically designed by PURC for the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Energy to address the needs of the agency.
