PURC Program for the South Africa Ministry of Finance

Representatives of the Microeconomic Policy Group at the Ministry of Finance of South Africa traveled to Gainesville to study utility regulation, infrastructure privatization, comparisons of pricing methods, and applied theories of monopoly pricing. The course was modeled after the PURC/World Bank International Training Program on Utility Regulation and Strategy.
The specialized course included individual meetings with University of Florida researchers as well as attendance at larger seminars in Tallahassee.
