Curriculum & Specializations
The Post-Doctoral Bridge (PDB) program provides a solid foundation in the core business disciplines that are most crucial for each participant's chosen area of specialization, as well as an understanding of the pedagogical and teaching methods commonly used in business schools. The Post-Doctoral Bridge (PDB) program curriculum enables participants to maximize the connections between their Ph.D. or other doctorate degree training and business topics to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue an academic career in a college of business. Admission is limited to 30 post-doctoral participants per cohort. Participants will come to the UF campus one weekend per month for five months. The PDB Program will meet on the following dates in 2010:
Weekend 1: April 17-18
Weekend 2: May 8-9
Weekend 3: June 12-13
Weekend 4: July 10-11
Weekend 5: August 21-22
