Fees

Program Fees: $25,600 (includes tuition, textbooks, a laptop computer, and other program related expenses). Program Fees do not include travel or lodging expenses for the required on campus visits. Students will be required to pay expenses out-of-pocket and make their own travel and lodging arrangements.

Financial Aid:

More than 70% of University of Florida students receive some sort of monetary assistance through the Office for Student Financial Affairs (SFA). Students in the MSM health programs are eligible to apply for federal student loans. No federal loan, state loan or grant programs exist for international students. International students must be able to pay the cost of tuition and living expenses. Students must fill out the current year financial aid applications in order to get aid for the summer.

Program Dates

Initiation Date: February 13th, 2010

Required On-Campus Visits:

Students will be required to visit the University of Florida campus a total of 6 times. There will be an initial visit for orientation (a comprehensive technology session will be included) and the "kick-off" of the first term's classes. Then, at the end of each term students will be required to visit the campus for final exams and details about the next term's courses. The anticipated graduation for the first cohort of students who begin the program in February 2010 is August 2011.

What You'll Bring Home:

All course materials (books and course packets) are included in your tuition, as well as a laptop computer with accessories. During orientation, you will receive the laptop and course materials for the first term. These items will be bulky, and will add to the luggage with which you are returning home. If you are travelling by air, you should keep this in mind when packing.
