MAIB Career Info

Doing a job search, interviewing, and making career decisions can be a challenge and thorough preparation is important. MAIB students are able to enjoy the services of two distinct campus career offices, the Graduate Business Career Services Office and UF Career Resource Center.

We partner with employers on a one-to-one basis and customize events that help them meet their recruiting goals. Various activities take place allowing our students to learn more about opportunities and organizations.

Graduate Business Career Services (GBCS)

This office serves Warrington students from the Specialized Master's and MBA programs and is located in the Warrington College of Business Administration. They are industry-focused, specifically on all business and a few government opportunities, and they offer a variety of services:

  • Unlimited individual career advising
  • Workshops with such topics as "Career Fair Strategies", "Interviewing Techniques", "Government Opportunities", "International Student Career Issues", and "Resumes and Cover Letters"
  • Gator Graduate Career Day, fall and spring terms
  • Hosting company presentation/speaking sessions and on-campus interviews
  • Library and database services for career research
  • Production of MAIB resume CD to be given to employers & recruiters
  • Corporate and government outreach and relations
  • Non-UF career fair information

UF Career Resource Center (CRC)

This office serves all UF students and is located in the student union in the center of campus. The CRC does not focus solely on business student needs and it offers many services, to include:

  • Unlimited individual career advising

  • Hosting company presentation/speaking sessions and on-campus interviews
  • Library and database services for career research
  • Corporate and government outreach and relations
