Distance Learning Programs

At the Warrington College of Business Administration, we have always maintained that, in developing programs and curricula, "the future is now." Nowhere has this been more true than in our distance learning programs. WCBA was one of the first schools to offer undergraduate classes via cable TV and, later, online, as well as having one of the first accredited online MBA programs. In response to needs of Florida citizens, the Online Business program was created to make undergraduate degrees available online.

Why Choose A Distance Learning Program?

Distance learning is offered to students in remote locations, including their homes or at partner schools overseas. Courses may be delivered synchronously (on a set schedule similar to on-campus courses) or asynchronously (on an open, flexible schedule). A distance course may include a requirement that students and instructors meet once, or periodically, in a physical setting. Studies have shown that there is no significant difference in the learning outcomes experienced by students in a traditional classroom versus those in a distance learning situation.

Distance learning allows students to take advantage of the opportunities to interact with your instructor or with on-site facilitators, through face-to-face contact, e-mail, telephone, live chat sessions or whatever means available.
